Zabawny i zarazem refleksyjny portret Kim Lee, ikony sceny Drag Queen w Polsce, który zmarł w wyniku powikłań po Covid-19 w grudniu 2020 r. Opowieść o człowieku, który zachwycał swoją nietuzinkową osobowością, charyzmą i błyskotliwym dowcipem. Publiczność go kochała, a on chciał być dla nich - jak sam to określał - przybyszem z innej planety, jednorożcem. Film jest luźną impresją na temat jego osoby, wycinkiem z jego życia, swoistym hołdem dla Kim Lee. Widzimy go w garderobie, gdzie pokazuje nam niezliczone kreacje, na scenie, na próbach, na ulicy. Przyglądamy się archiwalnym nagraniom z osiemnastoletniej kariery i poznajemy tajniki transformacyjnej mocy dragu.

"Unicorn" is a funny and thought-provoking portrait of an iconic Polish Drag Queen, Kim Lee, who died of Covid-19 in December 2020. A story about a wonderful human who enthused others with his unique personality, charisma and witty sense of humor. The audience loved him, and for them, he wanted to be - as he stated himself - someone from another planet, a unicorn. The film is a laid-back impression about him, a snippet of his life, finally - a tribute to Kim Lee. We see him in a dressing room where he shows us innumerable outfits, on a stage, during rehearsals, on the street. It is a unique occasion to see archival footage from his 18-year career and learn the transformative power of drag.
